Liked it EXCEPT for the ending JJ
Loved it! the beginning and ending framed the novel nicely. I adored Rosie the elephant and the author did a great job of making her a key character. I think I'll run off and join the circus too.

I loved the book. Great work at characterization and descriptions. The double stories entranced me and I especially enjoyed the older Jacob. It brought back memories of my childhood and going to the old Ringling Brothers tent circus that came around every year. PS
