- The boys use them to
start the fire
- Piggy is punched and
they break
- One night, Jack and
some other boys go down the the shelters and steal the glasses
- Piggy needs them to
see so now his vision is very blurry
- With out the glasses,
Ralph, Sam and Eric, and Piggy can't start a fire
