Ralph has no time for hobbies on the island he is committed entirely to making life easier on the island, and hoping that all agree with him. he hunts try's to keep the fire going and makes shelters, mostly by himself because the other older boys go of to hunt and have fun. he is left alone to bring civilization on the island but despite his efforts the tribe goes against him and retreat back to to times before life as it is today.
