Piggy really only has two friends on the island during the whole book

Ralph was the first person to meet Piggy on the island. Piggy is smarter than Ralph, so Ralph asks Piggy what to do sometimes when he is the leader of the kids.
Simon was later killed when he came out of the woods and was attacked by the hunters.
Many kids make fun of Piggy when they first meet him.
