is that Maine is the same as other states that don't have
baiting, so therefore we can use their methods of still hunting
and stalking bears. This is wrong on several fronts.Maine's
dense evergreen forests are far different than the hardwood
canopies of Pennsylvania, and the open alpine meadows of
Montana. It's easy to see game in those areas from a distance.In
Pennsylvania, you are not allowed to use bait. But during their
three day bear season, 100,000 hunters will drive and push bears
towards other hunters by organizing groups of up to 25 hunters
and walking noisily through the woods, scaring bears towards
