The Fear of Fire
Many years ago fire was one of the many sources in history. The Kiowa lived through it, being as a ritual where they usually danced by the light of fire. Most of the time they had many feast by the fire as well. A fire is a symbol of anger or what ever you want it to be. Many believed it was a ghost coming out of the fire.
Fire is one of my biggest fear that I had since I was a little girl. When I first saw the flames of fire I was scared, it wasn't like anything I would ever expect. During the summer, when I was minding my own business. I heard my parents yelling at each other. I never really realize that my dad or my mom were yelling, because I was in my room sleeping soundly and when I heard the yelling I woke up. That night on July 11,2007, when my mom came home from work, all tired and wanted to go to bed. My father came upstairs drunk, and saying mean stuff to my mom. Throwing things at my mom like an idiot. Believe me, I saw it with my own two eyes. Soon after that, he went outside, going to the garage. He grabbed the lawn mower gas tank and started to the side of the house where the electric box that is on the side and started to pour gas on it, he lit it with a lighter and that where I was screaming, seeing my first sight of fire. When he ALMOST tried to burn the house down. So later that night, I tried to stop him. He hit me and I was crying really bad, when my mom saw that she called the cops quickly. So there you have it, my experience with fire, and now my dad's in jail, thank god.
So now you know what happened with my life, and my experience with fire. Its one of my fears and still is, I know how I felt when I saw that, but, its in the past. I still remember this because it wasn't a fantasy, it was real. Real as it can be.
