The Most Important Person in my Life

The most important person in my life would definitely be my older sister Kristen. She is six years older then me, but we are very close. We look a lot alike, act the same, and have the same interests. Kristen has been there for me through everything possible, whether it was just a boy problem or when my hamster died. She knew how to take care of me when I was little, and we hardly ever fought.

Kristen lives in Sioux Falls now and works at the Olive Garden. She goes to school in Sioux Falls for business and lives in an apartment with her boyfriend Cody. My sister and I really enjoy each others company so we make trips back and forth very often.

Kristen and I love to shop together and getting our nails done is a must. Kristen will always be there through thick and thin and I will do the same. I’m so lucky to have her as my sister, but she’s more then that, she’s my best friend. I couldn’t imagine my life without her and all the good she has done. She has gotten me through a lot of rough times and I love her more then anything for everything she has done.

Biggest Turning Point in My Life

It was only two years ago and it was all started by a simple phone call. I was only fourteen years old and in the eighth grade. It was suppose to be one of the best days of the eighth grade. It was Rock n’ Roll day and it started off to be the worst day of my life. I just was dropped off at school when the secretary came out saying I was going to be picked up by my mom. I figured it was for a doctor’s appt. because my back had been bothering me. I got in the car with my mom and she was crying really hard. She told me it was my dad and he was in the ICU and that’s the only information she had. We rushed to the hospital and found my sisters, aunts, uncles, friends and grandparents in the waiting room. It was so silent that you could probably hear a pin drop. Not long after we got there the doctor came in saying it was ok for us to see him. My dad was in a coma because of a medicine he took that nearly killed him instantly. I couldn’t stand to see my dad in this condition; he’s my hero, my dad, my everything. The doctor told us a few days later that the only thing living in his brain would be his brain stem and everything else was totally swollen and not working. He was in a coma for one week and slowly died in front of the whole family. The beginning of my freshmen summer was the worst beginning of a summer I had ever had. It has now been two years and will be three on May 26th 2008. My dad will never be forgotten and will be missed and loved forever!
