City Slicker to Farm Land
I definitely realized a difference in the big city life to the little town life. I was having so much fun living in Kansas City; there were a lot of things to do and it seemed like I was never bored. Then I moved to Yankton, South Dakota, and there was almost nothing to do at any point in time. Kansas City had about as many people as the whole state of South Dakota. When I wanted to do something with my friends, and I could hop in a car and do anything that I could imagine. If I wanted to go to an amusement park, I went a few blocks, or I could go about 22 blocks and play laser tag with buildings I could hide in and underground tunnels. We could go to any movie that was out or go to a large down town area and shop at some of the best clothing stores. Basically if I could think of it I could go do it at any time I wanted to.
In the town of Yankton there was not much to do. One thing to do is go to the movies, but in a small town there was not much showing. What I mean is that not all of the big movies came to this small town. The other big thing that I could do was go to the bowling alley. In Yankton there are no stores to even get clothes. All they have is a Wal-Mart and a grocery store. Well I have now told you the major differences in big city life and little town living. Most of the time in the little town it is boring, but not all of the time. Sometimes you can find things to do.
