I decided to interview my uncle, Randy. He's from Beresford and he's has had a couple of experiences with tornados. Randy told me he's seen about a dozen tornados and comparing that number to mine is quite a lot. The first tornados Randy saw was when he was in Oklahoma in his teen years camping with some high school friends. His tent blew away before it could be taken down but Randy and his friends were able to get back to one of their buddy's house's and take cover. The tornado never took anything out around the area Randy was by but it did destroy a couple of farm houses. The most recent tornado he saw was the same one I did, which was right outside of Yankton.
