What is Cyber English and how do you feel about being in this class?

Cyber English is a different way of doing sophomore composition. Instead of writing down on pieces of paper our different writings you make a web site and put all of your pieces of writing on it for everyone to access it and read the essays and poems. I really like being in this class because it gives me a new opportunity to do writings. It is also better than a regular composition class since you do not write the papers, you can edited them a lot easier and have other people look at them without a lot of hassle. I also feel that the teachers would like it way better because their students get a chance to work on different skills on the computer as well as grammar and making sentences flow better than just writing them down using bad grammar.

What's your favorite thing about your web page and why?

My favorite thing about my website would have to my Monster page because it pops out at me when someone first looks at it. I think I like it more than anything else since there are pictures of people that I care about and it leads to writings which I really spent a lot of time on. It is just another way that kind of expresses who I am in a little way. My Monster page contains loads of information that not many people know about me, so I guess that this page just helps me a little bit define who I am for others to know.

If an outsider visited your site, what would you hope he or she would think about it?

If someone that I did not know visited my web site I would hope that they would think that it was a pretty amazing website. Also I hope that they would really want to visit my website again sometime because they liked it that much. I also hope that it would make them think a little bit more about who impacts their lives. I would also hope that the people that visit my website would appreciate the people that are in their lives.

 What has been most challenging or frustrating for you in this class and how have you met the challenge or overcome the frustration?

 The most challenging thing in this class for me is that I am not very good with computers. What I mean by this is that when it comes to computers and working in them I do not really know a lot about them, so I really have to listen when my teacher gives me instructions. By just listening and getting more help if I did not understand is how I have overcame my frustration with not knowing mush about computers.

Do you feel more confident now than you did at the beginning of the year about any of your skills: computer? writing? reading? Explain.

Yes I feel way more confident now than when I started this project at the beginning of the year. I think that my computer skills have gotten more advanced, and also I have learned how to use the computer in different ways in producing some extra sweet stuff. With my writing it has also improved because I have learned some new words that go into my writings. My reading has improved as well. I have learned to read directions follow them, so I know how to do everything more without asking as many questions. I am so glad that my reading skills have improved, and because of that most of my other skills will improve even better.

During the time I have spent in this class I have learned so much. I learned how to work and manage a website. Along with running a website I have become a faster at typing. At the beginning of this class I knew very little about computer, but with the help of my teacher I can do so much more. This has made me become a better writer because doing it on the computer can make me easily change the mistakes and catch them before I am finished writing. My teacher has also taught me some very good grammar points to use for when I do write in the future. If I could change anything about this class, I wouldn't. I really like how this class applies to the future generations. Having computers now makes things so much easier, and now that we can write stories and let everyone read them is very great.
