       Piggy is a shorthaired overweight boy who wares glasses. He has had asthma and doesn't care to do strenuous work when he is on the island. Piggy likes to have order and democracy. When he is given the nickname piggy he dislikes intensely. He is the only one who wants to keep peace on the island he could be one of the smartest boys on the island. They used his glasses to start fires. Piggy was one of the first boys that Ralph found at first. The first fire is the most important thing to Piggy when the fire went out Piggy had a melt down. In the book Piggy is killed because he was trying to keep peace and the other boys started to have a war and Piggy was hit in the head and his body is hurled over the ledge, crashing onto a rock below his blood and guts before his spill out. His corpse is washed away with a wave from the ocean. That was the end for Piggy. Back home Piggy’s dad was a officer.

He likes order and democracy

He always has a positive attitude

He has short hair glasses and over weight

He is overwhelming by emotion when the pig is killed

He wants to live like he did when he lived with his parents

Wants to act as a officer on the island

Wants to try to keep peace between everyone on the island

He acts as a peacekeeper on the island  

 

Lord of the Flies Book Scene

“That little ‘un” I gasped, “Him with the mark on his face, I don’t see him. Where is he now?”

The crowd was as silent as death.

“Him that talked about the snakes, He was down there-“

A tree exploded in the fire like a bomb. Tall with swathes of creepers rose for a moment into view, agonized, and went down again. Then the little boys screamed at them.

In the scene when the little boys screamed that there was a snake. They could have told it in Piggy’s point of view.

The little boys came up to all the other boys and they started to screams “snakes, snakes look at the snakes.”

We all looked at each other fearfully, unbelieving. “--Where is he now?” Ralph muttered the reply as if in shame. “Perhaps he went back to the, the-“ Beneath us, on he unfriendly side of the mountain, the drum-roll, continued!!
