Myth: Rabbits are great, low maintenance pets.

They don’t have to be walked like dogs but they are anything but low maintenance pets. Their quarters need daily cleaning and they need fresh food and water every day. Food that includes well washed salad, and dark-green leafy vegetables. Some rabbit health problems can be chronic, and require regular but expensive veterinary treatment. To make the picture complicated, veterinaries skilled in rabbit medicine are hard to find.
