How does this class seem different from other English classes you've had in the past?

In other English classes we never did most of the class time on the computer but we went into a computer lab and did a quick assignment on the computer then we went right back into the classroom to continue to read the book and writing in our notebook. and in this class we get to create our own website and we get to design it out way. but the most fun thing of all is that our teacher is the best English teacher in the whole school.

What's your favorite thing about your web page and why?

My favorite thing about my my wed page is that we are the one how decides what it looks like. We all have different personalities and we all have different things that we like. and we can add things that show the true un over the internet to the many people that visit the site and that they can e-mail us back and tell us what they thought of the site. 

If an outsider visited your site, what would you hope he or she would think about it?

I Would  hope that they would think that the wed site was a half decent because I have only been in class half of the time that the rest of the class was working in the wed sites and I have only been here for that part that deals with the journals  and the actual setting up part. 

Even though you are too young to vote, it won’t be long. You should be aware of what is going on in the world and in our country. So, I want you to write a five paragraph journal entry explaining who you would vote for for president if you were able to, and give three good reasons why.  In case you don’t know, the people still in the race are Republicans John McCain and Mike Huckabee and Democrats Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama

If I was going to vote. I would have to pick Barack Obama. there are many different reasons why I would pick Barack. on would be that is was voted president he would be first black president that our country has ever had. second he promised to do everything in his power to help bring our soldiers home form being over seas. and third he has promised that he would try to get high speed internet out to the country side.

    I am all for change so I would want to have Barack Obama to be president. and if some of you say that Hilary Clinton would be the first president but I am sorry to say I am up for little steps not giant leaps. for another thing men have ruled this country and messed it up and if anyone cared they would of held a protest and they would of done something about it.

    i have friend and family that are over seas and fighting in the war so i would like to have them home so i can talk to them and i can hang out with hem and so they can tell  me all about the war over seas and whet was the favorite and the most boring part of being over seas.

    i would really like to have high speed internet ay my house because I live in the middle of the country side and my internet is so slow i could cook my lunch by the time my internet gets booted up, and i could probably eat it  before the front page opens up. it ruffle takes me two hours to get my homework done if the internet dose not freeze up on me.

those are the reasons why i would vote for barrack Obama. 

How have you integrated your learning of literature with your web and technical learning?

I have integrated my learning of literature with the web by looking up the things we are doing in class on the internet, and by getting all of the info i can helps me with my writing and it helps me with coming up with new ideas to write about.

Do you feel more confident now than you did at the beginning of the year about any of your skills: computer? writing? reading? Explain.

Not Really. Maybe my writing skill might of improved a little but not hardly the amount that I would of wanted.. my computer skill have stayed the same because I pretty knew all of the thing on the computer by hart. I am what you may call a computer wiz. My reading skills has pretty much stayed the same but I think I can read a little bit faster now.

Writing collaboratively can be challenging and rewarding. Write about your experience writing with another person.

The time i wrote with others was a very big awaking experience. it show me that the world is full of different people and that they all have different views about how they want out live there life. they pretty much had everything that i did not want they wanted in.
