Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Review

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a film directed and written by John Hughes in 1986. The main characters are Ferris, his girlfriend, Sloane, his best friend Cameron, and the "Dean of Students" Ed Rooney. These characters are played by Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, and Jeffrey Jones. This movie had wonderful acting on everybody’s part, and the whole scenario and action taking place is believable. I don’t know if the whole story, and how everything works out Ferris’ way, is very believable, but the story line keeps you watching. I don’t know if too many special effects were used, but the whole movie keeps very good camera angles. The costumes were probably how people dressed in the ‘80s, and the setting was realistic, compared to a suburban neighborhood and a big city. Also, the soundtrack fits every scene incredibly well. This film does have some harsh language, but other than that, I think it could be rated PG-13, and suitable for kid in middle school and up. I really enjoyed this movie, and even though I’ve seen it 100 times, I’ll probably watch it 100 more.
