| In my interview I interviewed my mom. When her and my dad were in there early twenties and pregnant with my older sister they had a close encounter with a tornado on the Lewis and Clark Lake. My family has always been close to the weather and what's happening because we live on the farm and you pay attention to the weather because of crops and animals. So my dad and my mom were on a date in early spring, when the clouds to the west started blowing up. My mom was pregnant with my sister so she was very nervous and wanted to head back home. But my dad being the big tough guy, thought he would be cool and stick around to see what happens. Sure enough about 15 minutes later a nice funnel cloud formed and then a tornado touched ground. They were at a safe distance from this tornado and enjoyed every minute of it. |
