Along time ago there was a big rain.  It rained and rained, and then it started to flood.  The waters rose fast so the Native American people had to move to the high ground.  But the higher they went the higher the water rose until they had nowhere to go.  All of the Indians were swept away and drowned.  Everyone and everything died except a man and a woman.  To stay alive they ate the fish that were floating in the water.  After a while the floodwater subsided and all the game was dead.  So when the two died their kids became the spirit of deer and the bear and insects.  So all the animals and insects came back again.
