Students in High School can be very hard to control and not discipline to everyone around them. They may start fights and not do very well in school. They could be very smart kids that make bad decisions or be in the wrong place at the wrong time, which makes them look like someone they are not. They could be put in a picture as someone who isn’t the true them. All young girls and boys at one time may be put into a hard spot or an easy spot and make the wrong choices. Then, the wrong choice leads to consequences.

    There is a juvenile camp down in Missouri. It is called the Luc Ranch. Luc stands for Lives under Construction. It is a Juvenile camp for boys who have been in trouble with the law and with themselves. The boys that attend are the type of boys who are at their last string at home and everywhere else; the only place for them to go to is jail or if interested, the Luc Ranch.

    The effects that come from this camp are more good than bad. It teaches respect, and importance to the young boys who attend. If the boys have not been raised to be respectful to others and themselves, they are sure to learn it from this camp. There are many boundaries for the boys to follow, and if broken, they must pay the price. They are not beaten, or tortured, but there are consequences if the rules are not followed. Importance is another thing that they boys are taught. They are important to the society and to people around them. Even though they may make mistakes, they are still loved by someone. Luc Ranch makes a very good impression on the boys about being loved. They support them and respect them in very good ways.

    Giving back to people is one of the major things that Luc Ranch teaches to the young men. They teach the boys how to give back to the community in ways different than they think. Some situations like picking up garbage or mowing lawns for free are some of the things they would do. It is just something for them to get involved in and to realize that they don’t have to be given back to if they do something for others.

    All in all the boys that attend Luc Ranch end up restarting their lives and renewing everything that they may have broken or stopped doing. It is a very good thing for juveniles, and it gives a good message for those who need help. It is a positive thing for those who need someone there for them and who need respect and love from someone who cares. I think that Luc Ranch causes a lot of good in return for bad.
