Alien Invasion

I am from Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,

I am from green beans, apples and oranges, sugar cookies and chicken noodle soup

I am from dog food and water, pretzels and tea

I am from spaghetti and Crisco.

I am from sticks, dirt, grass, hammers, and one dog

I am from a letter from Santa Clause, bed, Buick, and a stuffed animal

I am from a little white house in the country.

I am from a basketball hoop, wild cats, and corn fields,

I am from a gravel road that would seem to have no end,

I am from running around on my bare feet while thistles and rocks press under me,

I am from pastures, from an island in the middle of a slue,

I am from playing cowboys and Indians,

I am from the mail box, from birds nests in the trees.

I am from one man, who is one of my best friends,

From those I love and care about,

I am from Aunt Chris and Anne of Green Gables,

I am from Felicity, from the one who watches over me,

I am from my parents best friends.

I have come from "You know if you cross your eyes they will stay like that forever?"

I am from "Timmy", from "I don’t want to grow up"

I am from "he did it, I had nothing to do with it", I am from "lets go play road runner"

I am from "I love you to the moon and back"
