The idea and sections tie these together are that section two is about
hunting which tells about two men that find an antelope utter and they
both wanted it, and section four is about the mountains, and the outdoors.
The historian talks about that there have been reports of people in the northwest speaking a language that is similar to Kiowa. In the winter of 1848-49 the Kiowa were experiencing a shortage of food (being the buffalo) and they had to form a great circle and enclose antelope and other wild game in the middle. The game was killed with clubs and even bare hands. My connection to this is that I like hunting I remember many times each year that I go and hunt with a bunch of people out at my grandparents farm and go hunting for pheasants. We all go and walk fields and corn fields. Then when they fly up we shoot them.
