Myth:  Horses are mean

There are a lot of horses that act badly or they misbehave in certain ways. Horses that act this way were usually raised poorly, and treated with no affection; therefore, they learn that humans can’t be trusted. So they respond to their treatment by misbehaving, and sometimes violent. Horses that have love and good affection towards them while growing up grow up to be well mannered and behave very well.
