Where is your Homework?

I did it I swear, but I left it out over night,

around 3 am I saw this huge figure

in the dark.

I turned on the light to find

the Boogeyman took it!

He said he took it because

he needed it to learn,

but I know he took it to copy my work!

Well… my cat was chasing a mouse,

so I had to go chase my cat down.

I was chasing my cat for two whole miles. When I finally caught it,

it was getting really dark out.

Then when I came back home,

the power went out at my house.

So you see. I couldn’t do my homework.

You see my dog went on a wild fire rampage.

He was tearing the whole house apart.

Then when he got to my room,

he destroyed it with his laser vision.

I left it in my locker,

but when I tried to find it,

I only discovered that it was missing.

I looked at the bottom of my locker,

and found this hole.

I only discovered that some mad rabbits took it.

I was doing my homework after school

outside at my house.

Then I went inside to go to the bathroom.

When I came outside I discovered that my homework was missing.

Then I saw something up in the tree.

It was my homework, but a bird had it.

I tried to take it away,

but I discovered the bird was using it for its nest.

So you see,

I just didn’t have the guts

to take it away from the bird.

The Hummingbird

Only but the flowers you can find.

The hummingbird that is what it is.

Looking for what it wants,

The nectar is what it got.

Only to get what it wants,

The nectar is what it gets.

Never to get caught,

to be barley seen is what it wants.

The heart beating so fast,

Just to let the time past.

Feeding all day just to survive,

only to find a lovely surprise.

So peaceful and quiet,

to listen to the sounds of nature.

Just to roam all day,

never to be worried.

To gaze up at the stars at night,

to fall asleep under the stars.

O look what I see,

a shooting star.

Make a wish,

maybe it will come true.

Not having to hurry,

there is no worry.

To take in all the fresh air,

there is no care.

To look at the landscape,

what a wonderful sight.

So innocent and at peace,

No care about the world,

No knowing of the future,

Her clothes outdated,

But still looks adorable,

Never to know what the world is about,

Her smile looking so happy,

Living day by day,

Not having to worry about the future,

Take one look at her and you would think that she is a doll,

So fragile and full of laugher.

To let out thought and feelings,

wanting somebody to feel them too.

To write on what your feeling,

only that time of that place.

To let out anger, frustration, or even pain,

to let others know how you felt, or what something looked like.

Only to get one chance,

to impress someone you care about.

Always to write what you feel,

Always let it all out.

After school I go to unwind,

I take in all the fresh air and feel the light breeze on my face,

The river that is where I go,

It hides in between the tall evergreen trees,

Just waiting for me to be there everyday,

We exchange our greetings,

I let it all out and spill everything about my day,

Whether it was a good day or a miserable day,

I spill everything and that makes everything alright.

 A Street

A street can be any street,

to only look at the sign,

and wonder what it means,

could it mean any street,

or does it mean the letter "A" street,

to only follow it and wait till you can see for yourself,

always to wonder what these kind of signs mean,

to only know the answer.

So big so beautiful,

The water flowing without a care in the world,

Just to hear a sound of a waterfall makes you relaxed,

Whether a tiny trickle or a mighty cascade,

It still will relax you when hearing the sounds,

Just to listen to the sounds; you want to let go and be care free,

Why were they made?

Why do what they do?

That is what I want to be taught in school.
