1)How does this class seem different from other English classes you've had in the past?
In other English we barely ever used the computer to do anything. All you did was sit in the class room and so assignments out of the book which is boring. I know that everybody doesn't like big long assignments because they seem to take up to much time of peoples time. In this class over half of the work is done on the computer. And that means less homework to take home.
2) What's your favorite thing about your web page and why?
The favorite thing about my web page is that we get to personalize it the way we want to as long as there is nothing disturbing on it. The reason why I think this is my favorite thing on my web page is because it allows me to show my personality and I know that just about every person including me likes to show their personality.
3) If you had more time to work on your web page, what would you change or improve about it and why?
If I had more time to work on my web page I would probably take the time to add more of my writings. Not the writings that I have to write but the writings I write just because I want to.
4) Even though you are too young to vote, it won’t be long. You should be aware of what is going on in the world and in our country. So, I want you to write a five paragraph journal entry explaining who you would vote for for president if you were able to, and give three good reasons why. In case you don’t know, the people still in the race are Republicans John McCain and Mike Huckabee and Democrats Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama.
I would have no idea who I would choose I really haven't been up to date with all the presidential candidates. This year and I have no idea why I haven't taken an interest in the presidential race. The last presidential race I knew all what was going on and this race I'm lucky if I know who is running. I have know idea why I haven't been paying attention that is a really good question and I wish I knew the answer but I cant answer it. Yes, it may be sad because the youth are the future but I cant help it well I can only if I would do a lot of research. In the end I don't know who I would choose for president.
5) How have you integrated your learning of literature with your web and technical learning?
Literature and Technical learning are obviously two different things. to take these two things it shouldn't happen but obviously it did. Taking these two learning's has turned out to be a great thing and it doesn't waste paper like most classes do. Everything is done on the computer from essays to poems. to get them revised all you have to do is make sure you send them to you teacher and then she checks is and sends it back to you. So it is simple and easy but not to easy and it really doesn't matter if you are a slow typer because the teacher will give you enough time to complete everything.
6) Which new technologies that you have learned could you see using in other classes? Explain.
I would like to use the computer more in my other classes. If the school would do this I think it would be a lot easier to get everything done. With today's technology just about everybody I know has the computer and the internet. So I think it wouldn't be that much of a hassle.
7) Writing collaboratively can be challenging and rewarding. Write about your experience writing with another person.
