How does this class seem different from other English classes you've had in the past?
In my opinion this class is more personal. This class is more about opinions on things instead of making you recall exact details. I like that more than English classes because the answers can vary and you get to see other people's opinions. This method makes it a lot easier too. Then the computers are interesting too. I've never had my own we page, so this is a new experience to me. then there is the books. so far the book we are reading is pretty interesting and not boring like other classes. In the end I'm pretty sure this class will benefit me quite well.

What's your favorite thing about your web page and why?
My favorite part about this web page is how personal it is. I like the colors since red is my favorite color. The things we put on our webpage aren't that hard to come up with either.

If you had more time to work on your web page, what would you do to change and improve it and why?
I would personalize it more. If I was to personalize my webpage people would be able to learn more about me and make the assignments more interesting.

Even though you are too young to vote, it won’t be long. You should be aware of what is going on in the world and in our country. So, I want you to write a five paragraph journal entry explaining who you would vote for for president if you were able to, and give three good reasons why. In case you don’t know, the people still in the race are Republicans John McCain and Mike Huckabee and Democrats Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama.
I would vote for Obama. He is a good public speaker and he has proven worthy of my vote. he is also going to end the war in Iraq and that is what really matters to me. I believe Obama is an excellent candidate and will succeed as a president. even though he did "steal" a speech, but he meant good.
I would not vote for Hilary Clinton because she just doesn't seem to be the right person for president. I am fine for women rights but anytime she speaks it's just so dull. she has not proven anything to me. and the way she used the plagiarism against Obama, wow pathetic. if that's all she has on Obama, she will certainly lose.
McCain and Huckabee aren't too familiar to me since they don't make news very much. McCain looks like a crabapple and Huckabee I just don't know about him. Not too sure how they're going to do.
In the end I do believe it all ends up to the U.S. citizens to make the right decision. I think it is a tight race between Clinton and Obama. they seem to have more public speaking skill and they are doing this for the people.
I still believe that Obama is the greatest candidate. But my opinion doesn't count. I am not 18 yet. God bless America.

How have you integrated your learning of literature with your web and technical learning?
I would have to say it's pretty much the same thing. I start with my literature then when I don't know something about the technology I am using then I ask and learn.

Which new technologies that you have learned could you see using in other classes? Explain.
The use of Microsoft Front Page would help in my other reading and writing classes. It would cut down the use of paper. Lets save this planet! YES!

Writing collaboratively can be challenging and rewarding. Write about your experience writing with another person.
No offence but I'd rather write on my own. I had to write this one creative paper one time. It was really awkward. If I truly expressed myself then the connection between me and my partner "X" (not to mention any names) was really weird. They’d look at me like I was really annoying even though all I said was an idea. Another time I got stuck with someone who smelled horrible. I could barely stand to be around then let alone focus. I also was partnered with an obsessive homework doer. They’re nice when you're lazy, but not if you want your ideas to be heard. The only possible good time I could have would be with a friend. When I was with one of my best friends one time we laughed the whole way through out work. I had the greatest time and we can then pass it on to other friends. Not only that but then we can add of in our own time.

In my cyber comp class I have learned a few things. I now know how to set up my own web page. Before, I never had a webpage but now I can fully understand how to set my own up. My writing skills haven't changed much, but now I have more creativity and I learned how my express myself better in what I am writing. To tell you the truth, cyber comp is actually really fun. It takes out the boringness of writing stories with a pencil and on paper. That is so lame. Why not utilize our resources and what we have by doing a class on the computer. Seriously, we have computers here, don’t let them collect dust.
When I first entered this class I was kind of nervous, maybe because I had no friends in here. But eventually I got a grip of myself and got down to business. Writing these stories was kind of relaxing at the end of the day because you can just express how you feel in what you write.
My favorite part of the cyber comp class was the poetry month. I love poetry, especially poetry that has meaning. Exploring all the different types of poetry was amazing in a sense that I could write one too! I also like the freedom with the poetry that we pretty much got to write about anything we wanted, just like I did for my incubus poem. Poetry is a great way to learn literature.
At the end of the year I’m pretty sure that I will definitely miss this class. It was great learning some new things that never confused me and you weren’t wrong on just about anything. I also like the fact that we didn’t have to read much. I hate classes that give you something to read and they expect you to read it by a certain deadline. I myself read kind of slow. Mrs. Schulze holds a great class that is very fun interesting. I just hope that people in the future will experience the same type of education that I did.
