Best Friends
I do get pretty crazy at times. But that’s all because of my friends Kristen and Ashley. That’s right, I couldn’t choose just one. It was too hard since we are so close. Kristen and I share common sports, while Ashley and I share common understanding. They both make me laugh my butt off. Kristen brings out my originality. Ashley brings out my imagination. We always look alike. Kristen and I dress alike, and Ashley and I look alike. People ask if we’re twins all the time.
Kristen and I are in the same sports. We both obsess over soccer, and now we are recently in track, because of soccer. We come up with crazy names for each other. Her name is “Kristy-lou Freebush” and mine is “Mando.” We talk about pretty much anything since we know if we told, all hell will break loose. And believe me, it did. We always know if something is wrong. It’s another sense, I swear. That’s why we’re best friends.
Ashley and I live on the same street. We met in 5th grade but didn’t like each other very much. It was kind of an awkward beginning. Eventually we rode the bus together and everything just “clicked,” and we were friends. She’s hilarious with her made up words like “Wackower” and her fear of most things. One time she thought that her hamster was attacking her. I have no idea why she would think a hamster attacks someone. When her hamster died, we sat there poking it. She ran crying to her brother and her mom, and they walked in to see.
“Let’s flush it!” her brother insisted.
“You can’t flush a hamster!” her mother exclaimed
“I POOP TURDS BIGGER THAN THAT HAMSTER!” her brother fought back.
That day will always be burned in our minds forever. She has a love for animals. She has two cats, one dog, and a hamster. For some reason they always end up fat. It’s out of love; I swear!
Another day Ashley, Kristen, and I were all walking to the beach from my house. I rode my bike, so I took a different path than Kristen and Ashley. Ashley was panicked about mountain lions, so she wasn’t too fond of going through the woods. When I got to the other side, I waited for Ashley and Kristen to get out. When they got out, they were laughing really hard.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Ashley got attacked by a bird.” Kristen said
“Are you serious?!?” I freaked!
“ha-ha yea she was talking about how scared she was of mountain lions, then out of no where a bird came flying out of the tree!”
Those were some good times during the summer.
Ashley and Kristen know me the best. They never cease to make me laugh. That is why they are the best friends I could ask for.
