Where I’m From I am from a whole 9 pounds, seven ounces, and a Mohawk on July 11, 1992. I am from a Precious Moment’s baby blanket. I am from French toast and O.J. for breakfast. I am from tomato sandwiches and uneaten peas in the milk jug. I am from hot summer days making salsa. I am from the Backstreet Boys, TLC, N’SYNC, and The Spice Girls. I am from Pooh Bear, Hey Arnold, Mr. Rogers, and Barnie. I am from the Ninja Turtle and the original Transformers. I am from teeter totters and broken swings at Timberland Park. I am from trips to the beach and playing Frisbee. I am from falling off of the top bunk onto a toy filled floor. I am from long bike rides and campfires with the whole family. I am from skinned knees and fishing trips. I am from beads up my nose and mud in my toes. I am from cutting my own hair behind a couch. I am from Lisa Frank, fake tattoos, and stick-on earrings. I am from jelly shoes and jumpers. I am from Flintstone vitamins and candy cigarettes. I am from late night sleepovers and early morning trips to Fry’n Pan. I am from sewing through my finger at Costume Crew. I am from an understanding youth group at Emmanuel Evangelical Church. I am from a hard working Daddy to a loving mom.
