| For this interview I interviewed my dad. My dad played a big role model for me. He got me addicted to the sport hunting. The first time I ever went hunting was when I was six years old. My dad told me the story about his big buck he shot. It was the beginning of the rut and the bucks were running the does hard. He seen five other bucks that morning and six or seven does. But none of the bucks were the ones he wanted to shoot. Finally a doe came running by and my dad knew there was going to be a buck following her sometime. About forty yards behind the doe came this 7x5 buck. My dad waited for him to get in closer for a good shot. The buck came within seven yards of his tree stand. He waited for him to go behind a tree so he could pull back and when he came out he shot a perfect hit. The buck ran around his tree twice and ran about five yards and plopped over. |
