| I interviewed my Great Grandmother. The age when my great grandma was getting married there wasn't very much to do in town and it was hard to get around in town when the weather was bad. My great grandmother and great grandfather were getting ready for their wedding day. They were so happy and excited to get married. The night before their wedding there was a huge snow storm that came through town. The pastor called them the next day and told them that they were going to have to postpone the wedding because he couldn't get to their house or the church. They were not going to let a stupid little snow storm delay their wedding day because that was a special date to my great grandmother. So my great grandparents walked across the Missouri river to get to the pastors house and they got married that day. |
